The Legacy of Chalappuram Family

The Chalappuram family's lineage traces back to Uthuppunny (1802–1896), our earliest known ancestor. It is believed that his parents settled in Mulakkulam, Kottayam, during the late 18th century. From these humble beginnings, the family grew and branched out across Mulakkulam, Mulanthuruthy, Maneed, and Malabar, forming a strong and united community.

Uthuppunny’s descendants played a significant role in shaping the family’s legacy. Over generations, our ancestors not only established themselves in different regions but also upheld deep-rooted values of faith, leadership, and service. The family has a rich spiritual heritage, with many members dedicating their lives to priesthood and community service.

Today, the Chalappuram family continues to honor its ancestors, preserving their stories and traditions for future generations. Our journey is a testament to the resilience, unity, and unwavering spirit of our forefathers.
